Accessibility statement

Align Aerospace is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. This website has been designed and built with the aim of meeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Automated testing cannot find every barrier, so we do not claim full conformance, and the limitations we know about are listed below.

How the site is tested

  • Every page is checked with the automated axe-core tool against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules, at desktop and mobile widths.
  • Pages are checked for horizontal scrolling at a width of 320 CSS pixels.
  • The skip link and the mobile menu (including closing it with the Escape key) are checked with the keyboard, and form error handling is checked automatically.
  • Every text and background color pairing in the design is checked against WCAG contrast thresholds.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with landmark regions, a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
  • A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page, and navigation, menus and forms that can be operated with a keyboard.
  • Visible, high-contrast focus indicators. Pages reserve space for the sticky header and section menu so that focused items and linked headings are not hidden underneath them.
  • Text and background color combinations designed to meet at least a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and 7:1 for body text.
  • Layouts that reflow on small screens and when text is enlarged.
  • Meaningful alternative text for informative images, with decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with visible labels, required fields marked, error messages that identify the field and how to fix it, a single status message for errors and results, and support for browser autofill.
  • Link text that describes its destination, with document type (for example, PDF) and external destinations announced.
  • Buttons and navigation links sized for touch.
  • No content that flashes, and no auto-playing video, audio or carousels. Animation is subtle and disabled when your operating system requests reduced motion.
  • Focus indicators that use system colors in Windows High Contrast and other forced-colors modes.

Known limitations

Some documents linked from this site, such as historical press releases and third-party certificates, are PDF files created outside this website and may not be fully accessible. If you need the content of any document in an alternative format, please contact us and we will provide it.

The inventory search, customer portal, online credit application and careers application are hosted on other platforms that are outside the scope of this statement.

Some inline text links, such as links within paragraphs, are smaller than 44 by 44 CSS pixels.

Where the contact and quote forms cannot send directly, they open your email app instead. You can always email sales@alignaero.com or call us.

Feedback and contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know.

Technical information

This website relies on HTML, CSS, WAI-ARIA and JavaScript. All content and navigation are available without JavaScript: the menu is shown as a plain list, and contact and quote requests can be sent by email. Scripting adds the collapsible mobile menu, inline form validation and sending forms from the page.
